Powiatowy Zespol Szkol no 1 in Sieradz

PROJECT LIDER

Powiatowy Zespol Szkol no 1 in Sieradz is the largest and oldest vocational school in the district, with an uninterrupted tradition since 1947. It brings together Technical School no 1 and Vocational School no 1, both named after Tadeusz Tański, and currently educates nearly 1,000 students across 32 classes. Its students are regularly recognised as finalists and winners of national competitions such as the Technical Innovation and Invention Olympiad and the Knowledge and Skills in Construction Olympiad, as well as excelling in sports. In 2023, the school was awarded the Bronze Shield in the Regional Technical Schools Ranking.

TECHVET

The TechVET project aims to create two reports that will support VET providers in better preparing students from various EU countries to successfully undertake international vocational mobilities. These reports will assist VET providers in implementing new technologies and tools in practical vocational education, particularly in preparatory training for VET students engaged in international mobilities.

Dobre Kadry Research and Training Centre Ltd

Dobre Kadry Research and Training Centre Ltd. specialises in IT and language training for experienced professionals, while also providing courses in soft skills such as stress management and burnout prevention. Its offer includes marketing, finance and data analysis training, and since its foundation in 2006 the centre has supported more than 2,500 adults—many of whom have returned for multiple courses. A key priority is working with disadvantaged groups, particularly people with disabilities and older adults. Based in Lower Silesia, the organisation actively secures external funding to deliver projects that strengthen employability and social inclusion in the regional labour market.

The Institute of Citizen's Sustainable Development and Health

Founded in 2011 in Piraeus, Greece, the Institute of Citizen’s Sustainable Development and Health (ICiSDE) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving societal well-being by delivering sustainable services to diverse groups including regional authorities, local citizens, vulnerable communities, and entrepreneurs. Its activities span environmental protection, economic initiatives at local, national, and European levels, the promotion of regional products, and health-related actions. ICiSDE also conducts research across multiple sectors and target groups, such as logistics, disability inclusion, regional development, and tourism.

Events

Final Conference of the TechVET Project

On 9 September 2025 at 10:00 AM (GMT+2) the TechVET consortium will host its Final Conference, taking place online and free of charge.

The event will showcase the main results of the project, including good practices and recommendations for cultural preparation of students and young employees, as well as digital tools that enrich vocational education and support Erasmus+ mobilities.

 

This conference is open to teachers, VET providers, companies and students who want to improve the quality and impact of international internships.
